HENA Consulting specializes in providing energy-efficient and cost-effective Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and plumbing solutions that enhance the long-term value of buildings. Our expert design team boasts a versatile skillset derived from a wide range of experiences, spanning complex industrial, institutional, healthcare, commercial, and residential projects.
In addition to our HVAC and plumbing engineering services, we offer electrical contracting services, including new installations, maintenance, repairs, safety inspections, and equipment and power upgrades.
MEET THE TEAM
Founder + Principal Engineer
Yoko Matsuyama, P.Eng., P.E., LEED AP
Yoko has over a decade of mechanical design, energy modeling and sustainable consulting experiences for buildings in Canada, California in the US and Japan. She enjoys building strong, long-term relationships and working closely with clients to complete successful projects.
It is her mission to contribute professional experiences and accreditations to inspirational, high-performance building system design, in a consultancy that is conscientious of environmental sustainability and progressive design. She believes that this type of design leads to a reduction in environmental impact and increases social responsibility.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Master's in Renewable Energy and Sustainability System from the Pennsylvania State University.
